Copyright Notice

The ASM Lab software, its user interface, documentation, user guide, sample projects, images and the ASM Lab name and logo are owned by ASM Lab and are protected by copyright law, including the Copyright Act, 1978 (South Africa), and international treaties. You may use them only as allowed by the ASM Lab Terms of Use and Licence Agreement.

Your own project files, and the results you produce with ASM Lab, belong to you.

Third-party software

ASM Lab is built with open-source software, used under the terms of its authors' licences (mostly MIT, BSD, ISC and Apache 2.0), including:

Electron, Chromium and Node.js (the desktop app shell);
React and its ecosystem (the user interface);
three.js (3D display);
other libraries listed in the Third-party notices.

The full list of these components, with their copyright holders and licence terms, is in the file "Third-party notices" (THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt) that ships with ASM Lab, and in the LICENSE.electron.txt and LICENSES.chromium.html files in its installation folder. Those licences apply to those components, and nothing in ASM Lab's terms restricts the rights they give.
